Predictive analytics can provide significant benefits in reducing scheduled and unscheduled downtime and reducing overall equipment operating costs.

Often this links to the concept of Digital Twins – That is, the creation of a dynamic virtual representation of a physical object or system across its lifecycle, using real-time data to enable understanding, learning and reasoning.
