Fans for high temp and corrosive gas streams

Fans and blowers used in refineries are often required to withstand high temperatures and corrosive atmospheres and condensates. In such cases careful consideration must be given to fan wheel design as well as the materials and methods of construction in order to maximize performance and blower lifespan in these arduous environments. Often process gas streams pose significant threats to personnel and equipment requiring the use of gas tight designs. This webinar presents and discusses many of the design and deployment issues for high-temperature fans used in petroleum and petrochemical processes.
