The lightweight and resilient composite impeller technology is immune to fatigue cracks and failures which plague steel impellers therefore substantially reducing and even eliminating for unplanned downtime, planned shutdowns, and routine maintenance costs related to impeller fatigue, and more importantly increasing reliability and plant safety.

ExVel Composite impellers allow unlimited speed control and load changes and fast acceleration and deceleration, all resulting is significant energy savings potential during and in between process cycles. It eliminates the need for guide vanes or dampers thus eliminating the cost for this equipment and its maintenance. The lightweight and low inertia properties also mean lower loads for connected components such as shafts, bearings, and couplings, and therefore longer operational life and less downtime, spare parts, and maintenance.
