Howden has been awarded Superbrand status in the UK by Superbrands the world’s largest independent authority on branding with a presence in 90 countries.

What does it mean to be a Superbrand?

“A Superbrand offers consumers significant emotional and/or physical advantages over its competitors which (consciously or subconsciously) consumers want, recognise and are willing to pay a premium for.”

Participation in Superbrands is awarded to the most outstanding brands in their field. Brands are scored against three criteria by a combination of an expert marketing council and survey of 2500 business professionals in the UK.

  • Quality: Does the brand provide quality products and services?
  • Reliability: Can the brand be trusted to deliver consistently?
  • Distinction: Is it well known in its sector and suitably different from its rivals?

I am very pleased that our customers in the UK have identified Howden as a Superbrand. This award acknowledges the success of our business in creating offerings that are critical to our customers which, in turn, strengthens the profile of our 165 year old brand – a brand that is as relevant to the world we live in now more than ever. Globally we are committed to supporting our customers’ vital process which advance a more sustainable world.
