Liquid gas transport and storage often relates to vapor handling. Vapors are recovered and tanks are typically refrigerated  by a refrigeration plant to limit vaporization. 
Howden ventilation and aeration fans are embedded in carrier ships, and integrated into buildings. They also support the processes within import and export terminals. Our products have proven efficiency and the ability to offer protection from fumes and toxic gases within evacuation or pressurized rooms. In gas terminals, Howden’s reciprocating compressors are selected for their performance, gas containment capability, reliability and extended operation time with the Free Floating Piston system.

    NGL/LPG export. Export terminals will have refrigeration and boil off systems to liquefy feedstocks and recover vapours. Direct refrigeration systems (common for propane and propylene) will use the product as refrigerant and compress flashed vapours (including potential boil off).  Howden has experience in oil-injected solutions for the application.
