Storing CO2 for sequestration or usage

CO2 storage is the process of permanently storing the CO2 in deep underground geological formations such as saline formations, oil and natural gas reservoirs, unmineable coal seams, basalt formations and organic-rich shales. This process is known as sequestration.

Howden compressors can be used to inject the CO2 into these porous rock formations in order to permanently trap it away from the atmosphere.
