2020 Ventsim™ User Conference Brisbane - rescheduled
Due to the ongoing global public health concerns related to to coronavirus or COVID-19, the Ventsim Users Conference - Brisbane will be postponed until further notice.
The rescheduled date will be announced in the coming months.
The planning committee of the Ventsim Users Conference - with support of Howden's global Health & Safety department, has determined that moving the event dates is the best action due to travel concerns.
Please be assured our priority is to protect the continued health of our colleagues and customers around the world. We continue to monitor this using the guidance from the World Health Organisation and the advice that our businesses are receiving from authorities in each country.

Howden is excited to announce we will be hosting a Ventsim
User Conference on 14-16th October 2020.
Venue: Emporium Hotel, South Brisbane, Queensland
The event is a two day conference and a one day optional workshop for Ventsim software users and professionals in the mining and tunneling ventilation industry. A series of presentations focusing on the modelling and implementation of ventilation systems, safety design, efficiency and productivity will be given from guest keynote speakers,industry participants and our Ventsim team.
A call for presentations from industry will be invited from the community in March 2020 for suggested topics including ventilation modelling case studies, coal & metalliferous ventilation design challenges, unique or novel uses for ventilation simulation, safety, productivity initiatives, calibration & validation of ventilation models . We are also interested in specific modelling topics about fans, heat, refrigeration, gas, radon and contaminants.
The Howden Software Programmers and Engineers who develop Ventsim will also be presenting the roadmap for future versions and new software that is under development.
The conference is an excellent opportunity to meet and share with other participants, to listen and learn from informative presentations about ventilation design and modelling and to discuss and provide feedback to the Howden team.
