Axial Fans

Howden offers a wide range of axial fans to supply and process air within critical and demanding processes across multiple industries.

We have been at the forefront of axial fan technology since the earliest days of its development, and we continue to lead the world in raising energy efficiency, improving reliability and reducing lifetime costs for our customers.

Many of our fans are serving in applications where durability and performance is key to continued operations. Our substantial installed base and long customer relationships bear witness to the high-quality finishing of our fans and excellence in engineering design. This is carried through from bespoke fans for power and mining to standardised fans supporting ventilation in transport tunnels and air provision in light industrial settings.

Our expert team will:

AXICO ANTI-STALL®

AXICO ANTI-STALL® is the only controllable pitch axial fan designed to totally eliminate stall, system surging and increased noise levels often experienced by ordinary controllable pitch axial fans under unstable conditions.

Air handling units with AXICO ANTI-STALL® fans are used principally in hospitals, offices, hotels, exhibition halls, sports arenas, shopping centres and similar buildings.

Axipal® BZi®

The Axipal® BZi is a range of aerofoil axial flow fans with adjustable pitch angle blade. Its low and medium pressure performance makes Axipal® BZi suitable for all air movement applications with clean, dusty or humid air at temperatures from -20°C to 200°C.

PF Fans

The PF fan is a fully custom made design to order specification. It can be done as a single stage fan (PFS range) with one axial impeller or a two stage fan (PFT range) with two axial impellers. It can be either controlled via its precise and step less hydraulic blade pitch control system with very low hysteresis or using a Variable Frequency Drive with a fixed pitch PF fan.
