TURBLEX KA compressor has an advanced mechanical and aero-dynamical design and cutting edge control system. The air-end and integral gearbox have been developed and evolved based on 30 years of manufacturing experience, creating the most highly efficient air compressor available in the market today.
Each customised KA compressor is uniquely made to fit with a specific plant’s specifications thereby consuming significantly less energy compared to other compressor designs. The high quality compressor components, and the conformance with all technical standards, ensure long-term reliability and minimum maintenance.
Each of our carefully designed compressors are customised to site conditions, while consuming minimal required power. The compressors may be controlled by variable inlet guide vanes, variable diffusors, or both. The choice between the various control systems available, is based on the variable flow rate demand, the discharge pressure, and possible ambient conditions.
The KA turbo compressor is also available as the BaseLINE version, which is particularly suited for waste water treatment.
Flow and pressure range from 1,000 to 125,000 (m³/h). Differential pressure up to 2.5 bar(g). The HV-TURBO® compressor series for municipal and industrial applications comprise various sizes. All compressors in the series comes as a complete package, consisting of an integrated gearbox, coupling, electric motor and lube oil system, all mounted on a common base frame.
Our advanced test rig, including the mechanical and functional testing and performance simulation, provides verification that all technical requirements have been met before the compressor leaves the factory.

The KA BaseLINE compressor is built with the same well-known, high efficiency, reliable technology as all compressors in our portfolio, but tailored towards the 1.000 – 16.000 m³/h installations, particularly well suited for waste water treatment plants.
The KA BaseLINE compressor is an integrally geared single-stage turbo compressor with oil lubricated ceramic ball bearings.
The compressor features the 4th generation of impeller design with backward leaning blades, angled according to the desired regulation, and milled from a solid, forged piece of high grade aluminium alloy with an optimal weight/strength ratio.
Over the past 40 years, the oil lubricated bearing concept has proven to be the most reliable and cost effective solution for this industry. Several thousands of our compressors are still in operation after more than 25 years of service. The technology behind the BaseLINE series – making them the most efficient and reliable in the industry – is straight forward. The impeller and gear-ratio can be fully customised to meet the specifications of each individual plant, thereby eliminating the risk of over-design.
The BaseLINE compressor unit features the unique Dual Point ControlTM with inlet guide vanes and outlet diffuser vanes, ensuring a high-efficiency operation from 100% to 40% turndown. The Dual Point ControlTM allows the plant to regulate and operate the compressor within its maximum efficiency areas and with minimum power consumption over a wide dynamic range.
With the PLC S7-1200, the Local Control Panel (LCP) becomes an intelligent solution for controlling the KA compressor. Furthermore, combined with the Dual Point ControlTM and the instrumentation on the compressor, the Local Control Panel provides a superior automation concept that keeps efficiency and quality at a constant high level.
