UNESCO proclaimed that March 4th would be the World Engineering Day for Sustainable Development. The theme for this year is “Engineering for a healthy planet” which resonates strongly with the vision we launched last year; We enable our customers’ vital processes which advance a more sustainable world.

Howden is excited about its role in many important initiatives around the world that are contributing to improving our planet. Some of our projects include helping companies to move forward with hydrogen as a fuel source, utilising our engineering knowledge to help decrease the chances of COVID-19 outbreaks and engineering significant progress towards making biological treatment self-sustainable in wastewater plants.

Our engineers are remarkably talented and are leading the way in providing sustainable solutions and efficient products for our customers and their processes.

We celebrate all engineers globally.

Rising to the Top II
World Engineering Day is also celebrating women engineers by highlighting that Rising to the Top II is now available. Please also watch Erin and Emma talk about being apprentices at Howden.

We are also looking forward to International Women’s Day on the 8th March. We will have more to share then.
