Howden welcomes Ross B. Shuster as new CEO

Ross joins Howden from United Technologies where for the past 12 years he has led various multi-billion dollar, regional and global business units.

Most recently, Ross was based in London, UK where he was the President of Carrier’s global Building Solutions and Services business. This is a multi-billion dollar business unit which provides products, services and solutions in fire, security and building automation markets throughout the world.

Ross brings significant direct global experience having been based in the United States, Singapore, China and the United Kingdom over the past 17 years.

Ross will assume the role of CEO upon the retirement of Howden’s current CEO, Ian Brander, which will occur later this year. Ian and Ross will be working together to ensure a smooth transition. Ian will continue to play a role in Howden’s future success as he moves to the KPS Howden Board.

I am delighted that Ross has joined Howden as our new CEO. I am very confident that given Ross’ background and global experience and with KPS as our new owners, Howden will be able to accelerate its growth by providing our customers with even more innovative, market-leading products, solutions and service.

Ian Brander, CEO of Howden
