Howden announces partnership with OSIsoft
Howden Simsmart is pleased to announce our partnership with OSIsoft that will allow us to take our Total Mine Ventilation Solutions to the next level for customers.
Today, Howden is pleased to announce that we have reached a partnership with OSIsoft. For over 30 years OSIsoft have been pioneers in the digital transformation of mines. Their expertise has included software for storing, managing and analysing real-time operational data. By partnering with OSIsoft, Howden will be in a better position to serve our customers in the mining sector.
Specifically, our Howden mining optimisation software system will be able to interface with OSIsoft’s PI System, enabling customers to use real-time data to make decisions. Already today, customers utilize Howden’s mining optimisation software system to automate and optimise their mining ventilation to improve mine production and safety as well as significantly reduce a mine’s overall energy consumption, resulting in ground breaking financial savings. Utilising both Howden’s and OSIsoft’s leading technological solutions, customers can unleash even greater performance, safety and financial gains than ever before.
