Howden India History

Though Howden India was set up in 2007, Howden had previously supplied many types of equipment to Indian customers.

We have been supplying industrial fans to India for more than 45 years with the Howden name first registered as a trade mark in India as far back as 1962. We have also had a presence in India through Davidson & Co for a substantial number of years. This relationship was strengthened by Howden's acquisition of Davidson & Co and the Davidson technology (including the Sirocco brand) in 1988.

Industrial fan applications have ranged from fans for chemical and mineral processing plants though to waste incinerators and a wind tunnel. Latterly we have supplied large fans for the steel industry and power plants.

Our compressor packages are operating in the Indian oil and gas industry, both upstream in oil production and downstream in refining. The first units were installed over 10 years ago.
