Howden Hua History

 

1994    Howden Hua Engineering Co., Ltd. is set up in Weihai, Shandong Province. The company
           is a joint venture with Guangyuan Corp，Shandong No. 1 Construction Engineering Corp. 
           and Huadian Electric Power Corp.

1995    The main operations office is set up in Beijing,  covering sales, proposals, marketing,
           project management, engineering, after sales and site services.

1996    The first major order is received to supply air preheaters, variable pitch axial fans and mixed 
           flow fans for Weihai Power Station Phase II, 2x300MW.

1996    Production starts in a new purpose-built factory in Weihai. As the requirements for 
           production  Keep increasing, the company extended the plant area in 2004, and start to 
           make cooling fan system in 2004 and compressor systems in 2006

2004    Increasing production requirements lead to the plant area being extended. 
           A factory dedicated to the production of elements for rotary air preheaters is opened.

2004    The production of GRP cooling fans commences.

2006    A new facility is established for the production of compressor systems.

2006    The company supplies its 500th rotary heater exchanger and 500th variable pitch axial fan. 
           In the same period it has supplied thousands of centrifugal fans for heavy industries such as 
           power generation, iron & steel and cement.
