Succession of business awards for Howden

Our collective achievements were recognised at the Glasgow Business Awards ceremony in Glasgow on the 8th October, when Howden received awards for Best Performing Business with over 25 employees and Excellence in Skills and Learning.

We also carried off the main accolade of the evening, the Bank of Scotland Award for most outstanding business.

This triple achievement follows our success in winning the Scottish Engineering Award in May for the significant contribution we have made to raising standards within the engineering sector, and reflects the strategic planning, hard work and technological developments that has brought us to such a strong market position.
 
As a result of the Business of the Year award, Howden is now on the shortlist for the title of UK Business of the Year, organised and judged by the country’s Chambers of Commerce. The national winner will be announced in November, at a ceremony at the National Maritime Museum in London.
