Howden India established

To meet the growing demands of the Indian market Howden has set up Howden India (Howden Air & Gas India Pvt. Ltd.) which will be the prime point of contact for firms in India for Howden's products and services.

Based in Mumbai, the new company will be responsible for sales of new equipment in the utility and industrial markets. The company will also be the contact point for spare parts and services for Howden / Davidson equipment currently operational in India.
 
This is a logical extension for Howden, whose business in India goes back more than 45 years.  Howden has supplied its products to Indian Steel, Power, Fertiliser, Oil and Gas Industries where they have gained a reputation for excellent reliability and performance.

The setting up of this company in India will ensure that Howden serves the dynamic markets in India more effectively and responsively in the coming years.
