HOWDEN UK Limited’s Construction and Maintenance Division WINS PRESTIGIOUS HEALTH AND SAFETY AWARD
Building on the achievement of a maximum Five Star certification following a British Safety Council Audit, Howden UK Limited’s Construction & Maintenance Division has now been awarded the British Safety Council’s ‘Sword of Honour’.
This is the supreme accolade from the British Safety Council, marking exceptional performance in risk management, adherence to best practice and meticulous reporting. To be considered for the award, a company must be able to demonstrate a culture of safety management that extends from the shop floor right up to the boardroom. The assessment process is wide-ranging and rigorous and the award reflects the importance that Howden attaches to health and safety throughout its activities.
Only companies who already hold British Safety Council Five Star status can be considered for the Sword of Honour and a worldwide maximum of 40 are awarded in any one year.
