Howden UK operates in key industries which demand extremely high levels of efficiency, reliability and availability from their rotating equipment, for example in power generation, iron and steel, and petrochemicals.

In each of these industries, and in others, our products operation in a wide range of applications

  • In power generation we supply boiler draught fans, booster fans, rotary air preheaters and gas-gas heaters for FGD and SCR applications.
  • In the iron and steel industry we specialise in fans for iron ore beneficiation processes (sintering and pelletising) and in steel making (electric arc furnaces and basic oxygen converters).
  • In petrochemicals we focus on the supply arduous duty fans to API 673 and to API 560.
