Howden Denmark supplies custom engineered axial flow fans. Our main product is the VARIAX® variable pitch axial flow fans for power generation and mining applications. We also supply the TELLUS axial fan for clean-room applications.
Our sales, engineering, R&D and project management departments are based in Naestved, Denmark, while manufacture is carried out in specialised Howden facilities in Belfast/UK or Weihai/China. All fans are designed for optimum efficiency according to internationally approved standards and specifications, and Howden Denmark is certified according to ISO
9001.
The Company employs a team of experienced professional mechanical, structural & aerodynamic engineers who are fully familiar with modern design techniques including finite element analysis and computer aided design. Howden Denmark has a dedicated R&D department continuously developing the axial fan product both mechanically and aerodynamically.
A fully equipped aerodynamic laboratory, built according to AMCA
210, is available in Denmark for scale-model aerodynamic testing of fans. The company has also equipment for stress, acoustic and vibration measurements. Moreover on-site performance testing of equipment can be conducted to internationally recognised standards using portable equipment.
