Howden Buffalo Inc. has established a unique quality system that meets virtually any conceivable customer requirement – a system that is flexible enough to identify specific customer needs and provide the controls to ensure the customer gets exactly what they want.

We maintain an accredited quality management system that ensures continuous conformance to the ISO 9001- 2000 standard.  This system also meets the requirements of 10 CFR Parts 50 and 21 for supply of products and services for nuclear power generation.  In addition, this system conforms to the Association of American of Railroads (AAR) M-1003 for supply of equipment for the rail industry.  Our system includes all the planned and systematic actions required by these various programs.  We maintain an aggressive internal and external audit program to ensure we are providing our customers with the right product, at the right quality level, at the right time.  The Howden Buffalo quality system also provides the controls necessary to maintain a very high quality supplier network that supports the full range of our products.
