Cooling Fans - FanCasings

Howden patented "FanCasings" have a unique lightweight, double wall construction and are designed to match Howden cooling fans used in air-cooled steam condensers.

Advantages

  • remarkably stiff construction. Combined with the natural damping qualities of the polyethylene material it reduces transmission of vibrations to a minimum.
  • segments can be easily handled on site, saving time to fit a perfect ring. (Site assembly is a matter of hours, not days)
  • lightweight construction.
  • ideal inlet bell shape for an optimal fan performance.
  • compact shipping volume and simple transportation methods worldwide compared to traditional polyester fan rings.
  • single source responsibility for the optimal aerodynamic performance of the complete fan unit.

Standard Features

  • diameters from 7.93 to 10.64m (26 to 34 ft).
  • operating temperature range from –20 to +65oC (–4 to +149oF).
  • lightweight polyethylene (PE) "FanCasing" segments with double wall construction. (Patented design)
  • stainless steel fasteners.
  • segments are stackable for compact shipping.
