Quality
The management systems within Howden Africa have been certified to ISO 9001 since the standard was first introduced in the 1980s. Our strategy of continual improvement, in both product quality and service standards, has resulted in an excellence of delivery that consistently exceeds customer expectations.

Health & Safety and Environment
We are currently undertaking a programme of improvements in Health, Safety and Environmental Management, in accordance with the requirements of ISO 14001 (Environmental Management Systems) and OHSAS 18001 (Health and Safety Management Systems). As part of that programme, our site at Booysens, in Johannesburg, achieved certification to OHSAS 18001 in April 2008.
