Developing Excellence through Partnership is a programme tailored to support our partners – a ‘partner’ being defined as a customer, consultant, agent or representative.
In the current business environment it is important for all engineers to have a working knowledge and understanding of as many products as possible - the modules provided in this programme will provide our partners with knowledge of the products that Howden supplies.
The programme is highly technical, and one of the main benefits is that it will be delivered by Howden engineers, who have a wealth of experience and specialist knowledge. However although the content will be delivered by Howden, the vast majority of the modules will be applicable to all fans, compressors and rotary heat exchangers and hence are generic in nature.
The week long programme will run in Glasgow, Scotland at Glasgow Caledonian University. The timetable will have three product streams: Fans, Compressors and Rotary Heat Exchangers. Each stream includes approximately 25 modules. The timetable will also incorporate daily question and answer sessions and Insight Events which will include case studies and new developments in fan, compressor and rotary heat exchanger design - these events will be Howden specific.
In addition, the course materials provided will form an extensive and flexible library of training materials as well as being an invaluable resource / point of reference.
The next Partner Academy will take place in autumn 2014, date to be confirmed.
