The Howden Power Service Department quality management systems have been certified to ISO9001:2008. Our aftermarket support encompasses onsite services ranging from the installation of new plant, to maintenance, retrofits and refurbishments of axial and centrifugal fans, airheaters, filtration plants, ducting repairs and blowers. Howden’s total offering includes project management and onsite work as required.
The Howden Middelburg Service Centre (pictured above) is a fully staffed and equipped logistics base with a spares and equipment store, as well as a training facility for Howden Associates. MERSETA-accredited trainers provide product specific and general plant safety training, in addition to a Red Seal training programme sourced from a third party.
Our fully-fledged safety department in Middelburg is headed by a safety manager, enabling us to take out our own safety permits, conduct safety audits and complete administration to our own as well as customer standards.
